NO complicated menus!
Sorry, Dimi, I have to disagree. (Well, the DVD's already out, but for future references.)
I hate complicated DVD menus. I think the most complicated one I've got is the X-Men DVDs. It took a long time to get to the Menu--which is irritating when you can't wait to drool on Wolverine--and it had lots of good stuff--without a "Play All" button. (Yes, I'm lazy. I'll just glue myself in front of the TV and let the whole thing run.)
Then there is the hidden treasure as in the first Harry Potter DVD. They're trying to be so clever that EACH TIME you had to pass all these challenges to get to the bonus materials. Why not set it so we only have to get mad once--if you insist? The result of such fun and games is I watched the bonus material 2-3 times the first time I got in and NEVER watched it again. That's a pity. I would hate to find out during an Easter hunt that I missed something and now I have to do everything all over again.
In conclusion, include lots of goodies, but design a menu friendly enough for grandma. I think that's the way to go!
