Hej friends,

I just bought a double DVD box set from *ahem!* Duran Duran over the weekend (OK, so they were worshipped by me as a young teen long before EUROPE struck me like lightening)...but my point is this...
One of the great features about this DVD is the fact there are hidden "easter eggs" on the disc. I spent like 9 hours hunting for hidden footage and interviews etc. Though it was a bit frustrating at times, I loved the fact there were these buried treasures you had to hunt for. Does anyone else here think it would be a cool thing for the EUROPE DVD?

Comments?

DONT THINK SO
IT COULD LEAD TO US OVER STRESSING AND MAKING US DESTROY THE DVD. LOL, BUT WE DO LIKE FUN AND GAMES.[SM=x237809]

If this means then not that it is delayed till christmas next year - the idea is not bad. I love to search for such "easter-eggs"[SM=x237832]

Btw: I found in a catalogue a new released compilation DVD called "Metall Ballads 1980-95" Guess what´s on beside Bonfire with "You make me feel", Nazareth "Dream on", Scorpions "Still loving You" and much more? Europe: Carrie[SM=x237809]

Hope you´re fine.
We had a bit snow here this morning! Just light falling down and not staying but it was the first one this year.

NO complicated menus!
Sorry, Dimi, I have to disagree. (Well, the DVD's already out, but for future references.)

I hate complicated DVD menus. I think the most complicated one I've got is the X-Men DVDs. It took a long time to get to the Menu--which is irritating when you can't wait to drool on Wolverine--and it had lots of good stuff--without a "Play All" button. (Yes, I'm lazy. I'll just glue myself in front of the TV and let the whole thing run.)

Then there is the hidden treasure as in the first Harry Potter DVD. They're trying to be so clever that EACH TIME you had to pass all these challenges to get to the bonus materials. Why not set it so we only have to get mad once--if you insist? The result of such fun and games is I watched the bonus material 2-3 times the first time I got in and NEVER watched it again. That's a pity. I would hate to find out during an Easter hunt that I missed something and now I have to do everything all over again.[SM=x237812] [SM=x237806]

In conclusion, include lots of goodies, but design a menu friendly enough for grandma. I think that's the way to go!

In between...
I'm a bit in between on this one. I like the good old treasure hunt, but I also hate when I miss something or when it's too complicated to find.

I am with you on the 'goodies' tho... we need lots of goodies. Lots and lots and lots.[SM=x237802] [SM=x237802] [SM=x237802]
